It says "1/14 10:42:47p Timed event: FIDOIN returned 1"
And the same for FidoOut. WHat does 'Returned 1' mean?

I believe it means they failed to complete their run. Try running it directly from the command line and see what error it reports (ie: sbbsecho -les .. or whatever you run in your original timed event).

Okay, so I ran it alone and it looks like it was looking for a file called SBBSECHO.INI, but the one I have in my directory is SBBSECHO.CFG. It was working grat until the upgrade. Does 3.17 look for a different file name? INI instead of CFG? I tried making a copy and renaming it SBBSECHO.INI but there were all kinds of errors then. And none of the errors or actions were written to the log.

Thanks for all the help. In the mean time, I have to log onto Rob's or Kurt's BBS to get messages, because even if they are transfered, they are not processed into my BBS.

    Eric, K7ELH

PS. "Upgrade, they said. It'll be fun, they said!" Lol....

The instructions on the wiki tell you to run a javascript upgrade script that will convert your original sbbsecho.cfg to sbbsecho.ini.

    Okay,

I've done a search on the wiki, and can find no such thing. You are talking about the http://wiki.synchro.net right?

Okay, so I rolled back the upgrade and now my board is processing mail correctly
So I am good as long as I run the version I am at until I can locate the upgrade script.

    Thanks for the help...
