I had to quote this back so I can show you the above... I am not getting this with any of my editors, nor can I find the configuration switch that turns it on / off... I feel so dumb... Synch sometimes is not the best thing for me to grasp. Thought I would try again after I've improved a bit with my brain injury. My cognitive scores are much higher than they were last year so I might even try some coding :-)

You talking about the "Re:" and "By:" lines? These are in your ctrl/text.dat file. So long as you're using the Terminal Server (i.e.
Telnet, RLogin, or SSH), to post your reply to a message, you should getit
prepended automatically to your posted text.
