  • Adding an option to polls

    Hi DM,

    Recently I was thinking it could be useful for users to be able to add a new option to a poll, in case there is an option that the poster didn't think of. Do you think that would be feasible? One issue I can think of would be if a poll is on a networked sub-board, the new option would have to be propogated to other BBSes in the network - I'm not sure how much of an issue that would be.. And if multiple users on different BBSes happen to add the same option (and people vote on it), that could complicate things.

    Yeah, the networked aspect complicates things. Even just allowing the orginal pollster to add more answers to an existing poll would be complicated (though less so). I'll give it some thought.
