is there a way to turn off these downvoting/upvoting alerts?
i dont even like reddit, so dont want visual alerts when i'm msg scanning
on my bbs.

I don't think there's a way to turn off the notifications, but I may be wrong about that. Would be a nice feature.

If you'd prefer for your BBS not to participate in the voting system at all, you can turn it off for your QWK account on Vert. (Change Packet Configuration

Include VOTING.DAT File : No.) I imagine that would stop the notifications.

In scfg, under Message Areas > Dove-Net > Message Sub-Boards > Sub Name > Toggle Options > Allow Message Voting. toggle that to OFF should do the trick.

Just set the corresponding text.dat lines to empty strings ("").

okay, thanks. i'll think about it. maybe i'll just strip it out of my .msg file (i assume that's where it goes)
