Last year I downloaded Syncterm on my desktop PC and it came with a list of BBSes. Today I downloaded Syncterm on my laptop and - it didn't have a list of BBSes. I was just wondering what was up with it. Thanks.

You need to download the version with the installer that was created by Tracker1, it is on syncterm.net if you install the daily build or compile from source there will not be a BBS list.

I might actually create a new syncterm.lst and put it up for download with some systems from the SBL and non SBBS systems also, I may put a form up on the web for people to request there BBS be added to it. "This may already be happening somewhere"

yeah, but those are all old bbses. i think he should get the telnetbbsguide syncterm list and use that.

If you use the official installer (https://sourceforge.net/projects/syncterm/files/latest/download), then it includes the a BBS list and *also* creates a link in you start mentu to download an updated list whenever you want. The downloaded list overwrites your "system list", so it doesn't overwrite or remove any of your own added or modified BBS entries.

Very cool, I did'nt realize that.. I use a version I build under linux now, because the official release still crashes under XP for me, I posted about this a few times to Deuce (If I'm not mistaken) to no avail.. I think he has taken a bit of a hiatus :)

The daily builds crash under "My" version of XP also, they were'nt doing it at one time.. but I've pretty much given up on it since I use it under linux..

That is a very cool feature though.

Now that I have it installed on my laptop and updated on my PC, I have a quick question - is there any options for doubling the size of the screen without stretching it? I tried ALT+ENTER for full screen but that stretches it. I'd like to be able to just make the screen a little bigger. I didn't see any options for that but I probably missed it if it's there.

Anyways, thanks for the help in locating the bbs list. It'll give me something to do besides Twitter while I'm watching TV. :D

I use net runner, and you can just expand to full screen, works great on my Desktop and my Laptop.
