Hi Everyone,

I just recently got my bbs back online and I'm getting things workin again. I'm having an issue where some of the messages in my
subs are out of order. For example on all the boards that I login to the oldes message is 1 and the newest messages are xxxx which
seems logical to me. However on my system they are backwards! I've read thru the wiki at wiki.synchro.net about fixsmb and chksmb
to see if there was a utility to reorder the messages, but could not find anyting. (I did even ran it against my subs just to see
if maybe there was something undocumented that would fix it, no dice).

My Setup
Linux Install
SBBS v3.17a
Binkd v1.0.4

Not sure what other information would be helpful.

Not exactly sure what you mean, but messages are in whatever order they are tossed. If last packet was tossed first then that is #1 (so to speak), and etc, etc.

delete the data files, change the pointer dates on the host system you poll from and grab the msgs again

Are you using a Web interface to read the messages or a the Terminal Server? If the Terminal Server, are you using a custom message reader? How/why do you think the messages got reversed?
