furthermore, no need to run the varous default lists.

I have seen that, but the programs I'm running are NOT in there.

For system security, I'm going to do all I can. If you want to leave
yours open so folks like Victor Virus, Doctor Death, The Destroyer, Hack Attack, etc. can have free roam of your system, go for it.
