changed my system to 8 nodes instead of of 10. My event was trying to run on node 10, but it didn't exist. So, I changed the event to node 8 and it ran. Imagine that. Anyway, I changed my SBBS system back to 10 nodes just in case any other events try to run, they will be able to. Also, the days were set to OFF which I had turned on. Just my two cents for anyone that have issues with their events.
Just figured out what was going on why my events weren't running. I had JJ>changed my system to 8 nodes instead of of 10. My event was trying to run o JJ>node 10, but it didn't exist. I haven't had the demand to need more than 4 nodes...but most of the
logon attempts seem to be with bots. However, if I see repeated logon attemps by a certain IP, and no response...or if SBBS puts a "temporary ban" on an IP (I'll reset the control panel if a user's IP gets in there for a bad password), then that IP goes into the IP.CAN file.

It's like "Your system not working?? I can muck it up even more". <G>
It's just the struggle of keeping the good ones in and the bad ones out. Th JJ>bad ones make it rough for the good ones. Not just for IPs, but in a lot of JJ>things.
It takes failure to create success. If at first you don't succeed, try, try JJ>again. It's always usually the most obvious too that gets overlooked.
