  • Unable to receive email messages

    Hello

    Question: After setting up my mail accont on the bbs system using my email client on my IPhone and trying to send and receive mail I am gatting the error message Unknown user. I setup the correct username and password in the client.

    Any recommendations please?

    Look at the mail server log output. It'll tell you what's going on.

    you may also need to enable some debugging to be able to see everything... we recently ran into something similar and added

    DEBUG_TX | DEBUG_RX_RSP | DEBUG_POP3

    to the [Mail] section of ctrl/sbbs.ini so we could see what was really going on... you might need/want to add

    LogLevel=Debugging

    to that section as well...
