Is this the place to ask questions about ecwebv4 ? I haven't made any changes other then installing it. The File section does not work. The link for files points to ftp://mybbs.net/00index.html?$tu247blahblahblah. This is a dead link. How to I get the File Libraries link in the sidebar to point to the files on my ftp server? These are the same files on the BBS. Can anyone help?

Yes I checked out the web side of your board today. I noticed the difference right away. It looks great. How does ecwebv4 look on a smart phone? I haven't checked that out yet but I will tonite. Hopefully this improvement will increase BBS activity. Hey .... ya never know.

ecwebv4 works great on a smart phone. It renders well and looks good and is easily readable.
Yea! Checked it out last night. I was very please with how it rendered. My phone is small so the virtual keyboard is a little too small for me to use it on a regular basis but the smart phones get bigger and cheaper every year. It's nice to know no matter where I am I can "check in". It's very important to "check in" aint it?? lol

No, I used windows wordpad.
everything I did was hand coded and saved as a plain text file with an .xjs or .txt extension.
using html codeing.

Most terminal programs support some kind text capture or "ASCII download" type feature. Synchronet also has a "save to file" option for the sysop.

weird, sometimes I can't press the 'Alt-Z' option to bring up the help. Not sure if maybe I compiled it wrong, or it might be a keymap issue with me and Ubuntu. Sometimes my "Alt" works to disconnect or bring up other options, but that's only after randomly pressing an Alt-<Command> a few times, but it doesn't always work. I even tried to change my keyboard settings..

When reading messages, it's 'O' (for the operator menu), then 'S' to save.
