like garbage characters ### instead of solid characters. i'm using ftelnet fr ipad and never experienced it till today.

I'm always working on stuff and sometimes things get broken. Try all the servers (there's vert, bbs, and cvs.synchro.net) and see if you still see the problem. Also, maybe double-check your terminal settings under User Defaults.
