running win. sbbs 3.16a build date 7/25/12
in the scfg - external programs - online programs (doors) - (any area)
went to move a door game (f5) and hit the (ins) key put in a temp. letter and save it, there was no paste key (should be f6) and hit it and the info didn't copy over

I just tried it (with SCFG v3.16, development build) and it worked fine. Can provide more precise instructions on how to reproduce it?

Are you saying SyncTERM saved the file as "TIM" instead of "TIME.QWK"?
What version of SyncTERM?
Have you tried updating or using a different version
of SyncTERM to see if the problem persists
or is there some reason to believe it's a Synchronet issue?

yep
What version of SyncTERM?
2/22/12 (just check the build date)
Have you tried updating or using a different version
of SyncTERM to see if the problem persists
I have old version, just have to set one up (if you need me to)
or is there some reason to believe it's a Synchronet issue?
bbs computer is runing win. xp pro sp36 with all updates. I have been
useing version of syncterm (2/22/12) on my laptop (win. 7 home 32 bit) and it was ok (being I have been doing my offline reading on it) untell I updated sbbs then the problem started, I don't think it on my ftp side (being I would have heard about it) just the telnet side, but I can check
on another computer same build date, just test it on another computer (win. xp pro sp3 with all updates), same error

Looks like a newly introduce bug in the zmodem module used by SyncTERM (for uploads) and SEXYZ (for downloads). Up or downgrade sexyz, and the problem should be hopefully fixed.

did this happen just once or does it do it all the time.

well i logged into your bbs
and i'm trying to download the packet using
syncterm but your bbs is sending a bunch of crc errors.
and i let it sit for a long time and it's not getting any better.
so i think you have bigger problems.

it is now, and I've notice a new one, from sbbs build date 11/1/12, in looking at messages (html side of sbbs) a cut and paste :
&color: #fc5454; background-color: black;; Synchronet &color: #fc5454; background-color: black;; Vertrauen &color: #fc5454;
background-color: black;; Home of Synchronet &color: #fc5454; background-color: black;; telnet:
//vert.synchro.net
this one I can live with, but you might look into it
what do you mean nope? you have issues with transfering files.
i'm pretty sure when this happens it's the host that's at fault.
