    From Lord Time@VERT to Digital Man on Sat Aug 4 13:50:00 2012
    running win. sbbs 3.16a build date 7/25/12

    in the scfg - external programs - online programs (doors) - (any area)
    went to move a door game (f5) and hit the (ins) key put in a temp. letter
    and save it, there was no paste key (should be f6) and hit it and the info didn't copy over

    not sure how long this was there (onther then a few months when I last used it)

    I just tried it (with SCFG v3.16, development build) and it worked fine. Can provide more precise instructions on how to reproduce it?

    I just tried it (with SCFG v3.16, development build) and it worked fine. Can provide more precise instructions on how to reproduce it?

    hmmm, look like I was wrong, my keyboard on my bbs computer (ms one - usb) has a f lock key, somehow it has hit and the f6 word wasn't comeing up :(

    Are you saying SyncTERM saved the file as "TIM" instead of "TIME.QWK"? What version of SyncTERM? Have you tried updating or using a different version of SyncTERM to see if the problem persists or is there some reason to believe it's
    a Synchronet issue?

I have been useing version of syncterm (2/22/12) on my laptop (win. 7 home 32 bit) and it was ok (being I have been doing my offline reading on it) untell I updated sbbs then the problem started, I don't think it on my ftp side (being I would have heard about it) just the telnet side, but I can check on another computer same build date, just test it on another computer (win. xp pro sp3 with all updates),

    Looks like a newly introduce bug in the zmodem module used by SyncTERM (for uploads) and SEXYZ (for downloads). Up or downgrade sexyz, and the problem should be hopefully fixed.

    well i logged into your bbs and i'm trying to download the packet using syncterm but your bbs is sending a bunch of crc errors.
    and i let it sit for a long time and it's not getting any better.

    so i think you have bigger problems.

    what do you mean nope? you have issues with transfering files.
    i'm pretty sure when this happens it's the host that's at fault.
    i gave the window full priority.

    you need to change your transfer protocol.

    Actually, you were the one who reported errors suggesting that you are having issues with transferring files.

    i'm pretty sure when this happens it's the host that's at fault.

    CRC errors indicate that the packet wasn't transferred correctly. They don't indicate what is "at fault".
