    DeDeuce it. Where is web_root_directory supposed to be coming from? (I don't see it here.)
    Current method assumes that there is a ../web/lib/ relative to (I gather) system.exec_dir. Is that bad?

    I've been thinking about giving ecweb a try again. I've noticed there have been a lot of updates to ecweb in CVS lately - is ecweb in a stable state right now? Not sure if it would be in a working state if I were to get the latest ecweb code from CVS and set it up..

    It's in a working state (has been for a long time) and is just getting some optimizations, tweaks and additional features, hence the frequent updates.

    You can definitely run it now, although things might change a bit as work continues, requiring a few alterations to your config (we'll try to keep that to a minimum.)
