sorry this happen when read the inbox, the newsgroups folders open the
messages ok.

also i have some issue with the encoding of the folder names in
thunderbird,

yes i compile from cvs one week old

also i have some issue with the encoding of the folder names in thunderbird,

Ah, extended ASCII in the sub name. I'll see about converting using CP437, but if you use a different codepage, you'll just be swapping one problem for another.

I believe this is similar to what I was trying to describe to you a week or two ago. No matter what encoding I was using in my NNTP reader (which was slrn, a linux console reader, using nano as my writer in a full utf-8 console environment -- as well as Thunderbird on Windows) it would show up in the message bases as CP437.
