    What libraries does Syncterm need?

I'm assuming a cryptlib, trying to make a .deb and I noticed I didn't have a cryptlib that it needed, anything else off hand you know of? I'm told it'll compile on the Raspberry Pi, but so far I'm having better luck on my linode at kingcoder.net running I think Ubuntu.

    What libraries does Syncterm need?

Strictly speaking, it only needs curses (or ncurses). It does run-time linking
to add features if it's built on a system with the appropriate headers. Things
it will support if the library exists when compile on a system with the headers
available (and could be considered "build dependencies"):

    Cryptlib (for SSH)
    SDL (Audio and Graphics)
    X11 (Graphics)
    ALSA (Audio)
    Portaudio (Audio)

But none of those are required to be installed for SyncTERM to run correctly (ie: Not run-time dependencies).

For building the package, they should all be installed, but for the package itself, only (n)curses should be a dependency.

I know that this is probably not the correct place to post this message, but not
sure if it will affect anything else.

I am attempting to build Syncterm from source on my Apple Macbook Pro using the latest Xcode update that came down today. The cmake commond runs fine. When I go to run the make command afterwards, however, I get the following:

In file included from /usr/local/src/syncterm/src/xpdev/dat_file.c:39: /usr/local/src/syncterm/src/xpdev/genwrap.h:186:3: error: "Need to describe
    target platform"
#error "Need to describe target platform"
    ^

Upon looking at the source, I do not see the Intel platform listed in the genwrap.h
file. This was from CVS source current as of this posting.

The cmake build system is still experimental and not supported. See the COMPILING file for more details.

Is there going to be a new release of Syncterm coming soon?
