Log Message:
Add patch to allow connecting to OpenSSH implementations. By default, TERM is set to "syncterm", this is a global Program Setting, so the
best thing to do is use the SyncTERM termcap or terminfo entry.
Otherwise, you'll need to select a working TERM value from what's available on the remote system after logging in.
Also, maybe this will help you a bit in regards to the SyncTERM folder still being created. Not only is the directory created when I first open Syncterm, but basically any time I go back to the main Directory/SyncTERM settings screen. So after any disconnection and it goes back to the dialing directory, the directory is also re-created after deleting it. Just figured I'd mention anything I notice..

I'll take another look, thanks for the report. I assume you're positive that you were running the copy you downloaded (sorry for asking).

I can't get either problem to occur with the latest build. Is there a public SSH server I can try connecting to which fails?
What OS are you running?
Windows 8.1 is what I'm running Syncterm on. Gentoo and Archlinux are the two LAN-only OpenSSH servers I run here. Same results with both when I try both the LAN IPv4 address, and hostname.domain.
The only thing I can possibly pinpoint is that my logs say "sshd[7898] error: Received disconnect from 192.168.1.101: 2: Handshake failed [preauth]" which is the machine I'm running Syncterm on.
