  • Error on last build

    Hey Rob,

    Received this error on my last build.

    Running Ubuntu-Gnome: 17.04 64 bit

    Compiling getmail.c
    Linking gcc.linux.x64.exe.release/sbbsecho gcc.linux.x64.obj.release/sbbsecho.o: In function `alter_areas': sbbsecho.c:(.text+0x599c): warning: the use of `tempnam' is dangerous, better use `mkstemp'
    gcc.linux.x64.obj.release/load_cfg.o: In function `sys_timezone': load_cfg.c:(.text+0x70a): undefined reference to `SMB_TZ_HAS_DST'
    collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status

    You need to cvs update the src/smblib directory too.

    yup, I presume that'll do it.. still getting it back.. I just update the src/sbbs3

    I recommend running "cvs update -d" in the src and 3rdp directories: http://wiki.synchro.net/install:nix#updating

    you might want to update step3... it doesn't show "-d" for src and 3rdp...

    3. Get the latest changes from CVS:

    # export CVSROOT=:pserver:anonymous@cvs.synchro.net:/cvsroot/sbbs
    # cvs update -d exec
    # cvs update src 3rdp

    we, over here, do have -d in our script for exec, src, 3rdp, and xtrn ;)
