Okay, I switched using / instead of | to avoid problems with those who have Celerity color codes enabled. I don't know if those color codes are really in use much any more, but oh well...

I've seen people using them on other message networks (usually in their signatures).

Celerity (pipe, number) or Renegade (pipe, alpha-char)? The Renegade codes are still in popular use for sure, but not so sure about Celerity codes.

I've seen the pipe-number codes. I believe those are Renegade? The Synchronet sysop documentation suggests the pipe-number codes are renegade and pipe-alpha codes are Celerity.

Looks like you have Celerity color codes enabled (in SCFG->Message Options->Extra Attribute Codes). :-(

Someone also does'nt have issues viewing what is supposed to be viewed in SBBS.. so I really don't see that as an issue...
Those message color settings apply to any message network your BBS might be connected to, so it's not just about what's "supposed to" be viewed in SBBS.. Unless Dove-Net is the only message network your BBS carries.
