    Here all the bbs's run FBB and then its a lot easier using yapp
    or even binarie protocol with gp/mbu etc. (bget)

    Correct, Looking back to when I first got my license in the 1990s we
    went to BBSes to find projects, mods, dos programs like yagi design
    apps, articles, text forms etc. Now most of that has moved off to
    websites. So it does not get much discussion. I have a few small things
    here but the system is more active on HF than VHF. Local area is very
    low amateur population so see little use. So I dont wager I will see
    folks express a need for that here. But it is there and works if
    someone wants/needs to. :D
