Do you happen to know if I need to specify something in the Netmail
area to tell it I want it to use *.MSG? I went hunting and I have
found a squish base named messages at d:\messages.sq* so I am
thinking it's tossing there instead of where I want it.
d:\messages\1.msg etc
Thanks for any help,
... I only touch base with reality on an as-needed basis!

Hello Tiny!
according to documentation the flag -b Msg would do it.
netmailarea MAKENL /home/ubuntu/fido/makenl/msgs -b msg
Once I run "hpt pack" it's sent off.
according to documentation the flag -b Msg would do it.but documentation also says
"Like all areas NetmailAreas is *.msg bases per default."
