How would I set this up with allfix? I don't have any docs. I'd need
to imoprt file areas either from EleBBS or an RA compatible. RA docs don't have anything on this and ELE has no documentation what-so-ever other than scripting and macros.

That's because you need to use Allfix to do it. MBSE has the capability internally. I have never used AllFix full-time but I have tried it out. Allfix has built-in help that explains it all and it has excellent documentation.

If you set up ALLFIX to use RA 2.50, it should work fine with EleBBS. It did for me until I switched to ProBoard on my OS/2 system.

It has to do with the type of front-end mailer you use. If you look in
the nodelist, you'll see this:
;S FILE/UPDATE REQUEST FLAGS: ;S ;S The following flags indicate
the types of file/update requests ;S supported. ;S ;S |--------------------------------------------------| ;S | | Bark |
WaZOO | ;S | |---------------------|---------------------| ;S
| | File | Update | File | Update | ;S | Flag
| Requests | Requests | Requests | Requests | ;S |------|----------|----------|----------|----------| ;S | XA | Yes
| Yes | Yes | Yes | ;S | XB | Yes | Yes | Yes | No
| ;S | XC | Yes | No | Yes | Yes | ;S | XP | Yes | Yes | No | No
| ;S | XR | Yes | No | Yes | No | ;S | XW | No | No | Yes | No |
;S | XX | No | No | Yes | Yes | ;S |--------------------------------------------------| ;S
;S NOTE: If your system uses BinkIt (Synchronet), use the XW flag.
Your nodelist entry is malformed. You need to specift one of the above.
Are you using an ARCmail-style (dynamic) or a Binkley-style (static) outbound?
Binkd.

Your flag is XX. Tell Rick to add that to your nodelist entry.
Um, isn't that where this is?
