From Shurato@618:300/50 to All on Fri Nov 28 11:59:00 2025
How would I set this up with allfix? I don't have any docs. I'd need to imoprt file areas either from EleBBS or an RA compatible. RA docs don't have anything on this and ELE has no documentation what-so-ever other than
    scripting and macros.

That's because you need to use Allfix to do it. MBSE has the capability internally. I have never used AllFix full-time but I have tried it out. Allfix has built-in help that explains it all and it has excellent documentation.

My copy of allfix didn't come with any documentation. The built-in help as
you put it didn't help me at all. My learning disability is severe. I need instructions that tell me exactly what to do, not documentation to hunt
through (and even that would be better than no docs).

If you set up ALLFIX to use RA 2.50, it should work fine with EleBBS. It did for me until I switched to ProBoard on my OS/2 system.

Thanks, it is. I'll have to see if I can figure out how to set up file_find with it...

Ok, I set up allfiles and my files areas. I don't see anything related to FIND_FILE. Before I ask too many questions, where can I find allfile documentation? I tried searching google, but it took over a minute to
produce a result so I gave up.

I'm attached now, though I doubt I have anything you 2 don't. Also, does
this just search file names or descriptions? File names would mostly be 8.3 and not say much. Descriptions would probably have too many hits... Just curious, this could potentially be a really cool feature! I've had email
freqs on my system with IREX for a while, I don't think anyone uses them.
