It doesn't appear so, as PKUNZIP is able to successfully unpack the FILE_ID.DIZ. Check the FILE_ID.DIZ in that archive. Is it over the size limits? (10 lines of 45 characters, IIRC) Does it contain ANSI codes or high-ASCII characters such as line drawing boxes? Is there anything in ALLFIX's log file such as error messages?

Thanks to other suggestions, I switched the description to use the tic description instead of file_id.diz. That seems to have fixed it. The file _id.diz files are generally about 25-50 lines long... They have ANSI codes
and high ASCII characters. I didn't check the log for error messages after this fixed it.
