• Great start to 2026

    Hello All,

The unneeded drama I have had to deal with in Micronet has finally died down so it's on to bigger and better things.

I have committed to buy that minivan I spoke about. I have to wait until February 24 when my parents close the sale on their current house to get the cash to buy it. It's been so long since I've had a set of wheels I won't know what to do with my freedom! LOL

When I get the minivan, I am considering going back to work part-time at a job I can physically handle. There is a chance that I may start volunteering instead. Right now, the field is wide open on that.

My insulin pump is working very well for me. It's looking more and more like I will be getting that foot reconstruction surgery I need next winter.

I've also been referred to the pain clinic at ly local VA hospital about my lower back (if you don't know, I have degenerative disc disease in L4-L5 in my lower back). I'm hoping to find a way to get some relief from the constant severe pain in my back.

I'm also happy that my parents were able to buy a home in a very good location for themselves (and for me). They are less than a 10 minute drive from me and my younger sister (she lives on the other side of town) and they are very close to "everything", including the VA hospital. I feel better having them in town and close to me so in case anything happens, I can be there for them.

It's nice to have good things to look forward to.

Glad to hear all of that, good news indeed.

Hope this year continues to be good for you, and for all of us.
