I would like to wait until Paulie420 got connected and I know that it is working.

I then will ...ehm... borrow *g* a "signup" document from another network
and create an application form which could be packed together with the general network information, an ANSI ad and the QwK instructions into a "infopack" - if you agree.

Hmm, not sure how to change that without breaking the existing users. LOikely the web interface should not be converting those kinds of things. I can see what I can do though...

QWK users - be sure you don't change the QWK or other QWK fields in that message area. Only change the first two fields...

This depends highly on the BBS software.
I'm using OpenXP for reading/writing mails, here I just had to rename the areas.
The only problem was that my BBS already had created packages with the old names, so I also got messages for the old names :)

But as of today there is only me and paulie420 who used the old names.
Solaris will be connected with the new names, so this won't be a big
problem.

If my test message goes through to your BBS, also the new FTN names with
the WEED_ prefix do work.

spaces in http reqests are also an offending format unless the link also includes the http space encoding + or %20, so, if I may be so bold to suggest renaming to BuySell ? :-)

Well, the webserver is not changing anything, the web forum list scripts (runemaster included) simply read the subs name (ie Buy&Sell) and pushes it to an inline link. In HTML the & is a delimitor for variable names, so in this case a web browser will interpret ?page=001-forum.ssjs&sub=buy&sell as ?page = 001-forum.ssjs & (varibale) sub=buy & (variable) sell=

I know most people either use an offline mailreader; nntp; the bbs, etc. Personally I prefer to use the BBS webinterface to read/post messages and that paticular sub was not being displayed at all :(

The area name is fine for , i think that web server scripts must be
fixed to show correctly the names
just convert the html entities .
